Great breakfast spot. Staff is on top of their game. The food was amazing. I had the Ortega omelette and added Spanish sauce and it was so tasty. Both potato options were flavorful and added to a great experience.

The breakfast here was super yummy. The place is rather small, so the name Cafe fits it perfectly. So there tends to be a wait but it's so worth it because they give you a huge plate of food for so cheap. Great prices.

We drove into town just to try this place out and we were NOT disappointed.
On a Sunday at lunchtime the modestly sized restaurant was bursting with people and had quite a few parties waiting outside. We were told we would have to wait about twenty minutes so we hung out. The exterior space is pretty small, with a single bench and some sidewalk before it hits the next business over and the parking lot. The wait wasn't anything too bad and we were soon seated.
The inside is very humble and the crowd is very casual- your Sunday best is probably really overdressed, even on Sunday. All of the staff is super nice and it feels super homey.
I ordered the chorizo and eggs. It was super huge portion wise, had great flavor, and came with plenty of tortillas on the side. The star of the dish was actually their potatoes. Big slices of potato with a bright garlicky seasoning and grilled onions that had sweetness and a bit of char- are you kidding me? Sign me up. The breakfast salsa was tasty and authentic. Overall it was the kind of breakfast meant to revive someone from the worst of weeks.
Honestly, a daytrip to this little place is totally worth it. Escape to breakfast heaven. -

I haven't been into Rodeo Cafe in quite awhile and that was a mistake! This morning I saw they had Lobster Benedict on the menu. Ok, I'm not scared! That was seriously good stuff! English muffin topped with egg, lobster and a gravy-like sauce rather than regular hollandaise. Fried potatoes and fruit on the side. Yes!
The only issue you are likely to have at Rodeo Cafe is that the parking lot is small, and so is the restaurant. If you're there during prime time then you will wait. But the wait is worth it!
